A new personal recognition system using the palm vein pattern is presented in this article. It is the first time that the palm vein pattern is used for personal recognition. The texture feature of palm vein is extracted by wavelet decomposition. With our palm vein image database, we employed the nearest neighbor (NN) classifier to test the performance of the system. Experimental results show that the algorithm based on wavelet transform can reach a correct recognition rate (CRR) of 98.8%.

A novel personal recognition system utilizing palm vein patterns and a novel technique to analyze these vein patterns is presented. The technique utilizes the curvelet transform to extract features from vein patterns to facilitate recognition. This technique provides optimally sparse representations of objects along the edges. Principal component analysis (PCA) is applied on curvelet-decomposed images for dimensionality reduction. A simple distance-based classifier, such as the nearest-neighbor (NN) classifier, is employed. The experiments are performed using our palm vein database. Experimental results show that the algorithm reaches a recognition accuracy of 99.6% on the database of 500 distinct subjects.

室内人体红外辐射理论对于人的红外探测、医学治疗、侦探、灾后搜救等领域的应用具有重要作用,而目前对室内人体目标的红外热辐射还缺乏系统、整体描述的探测模型。为提高红外系统对人体的探测和识别能力,从生物传热方程出发,利用红外物理和传热学理论,给出室内人体表面温度场和红外辐射量的理论计算方法,建立了室内着装人体探测模型。在介绍人体组成和体温调节系统的基础上,对室内人体表面温度场进行了系统讨论,分析了影响室内人体红外热辐射的主要因素。实验结果表明,模型所计算的理论值误差在允许范围内。

提出一种基于Osher-Sole-Vese(OSV)模型的迭代规则化医学图像去噪方法。该方法使用迭代规则化方式,通过加入分解出的纹理和细节震动信号以修正原始OSV模型的全变分去噪结果,在一定程度上克服了医学图像去噪过程中对细节和纹理信息的过渡平滑。同时给出了迭代规则化医学图像去噪方法的实现步骤。实验结果表明,新方法能较好地保护医学图像的细节和纹理信息。

采用共聚焦显微技术中的双光子激发荧光方法获得DHL细胞中5-氨基酮戊酸(5-ALA)代谢原卟啉Ⅸ(PpⅨ)荧光图像。结合Rhodamine123、DioC6(3)和LysoTracker Green三种细胞器荧光探针的使用, 采用双标的标记方法观察DHL细胞中5-ALA代谢PpⅨ在DHL细胞的定位分布, 进而利用Matlab软件对获得的定位的融合荧光图像进行相关系数计算。通过Matlab软件编写程序对获得的定位图像进行边缘检测、提取和分割等处理, 计算获得的线粒体相关系数r=0.564; 内质网相关系数r=0.465; 溶酶体相关系数r=0.366; 可以认为5-ALA代谢PpⅨ在线粒体、内质网、溶酶体三种细胞器区域均有分布, 但PpⅨ在不同细胞器聚集程度存在比较大的差异, 经过3 h的孵育代谢PpⅨ主要积聚于线粒体, 而溶酶体中积聚的最少。研究表明双光子激发荧光可成为定性或定量研究DHL细胞中5-ALA代谢PpⅨ以及PpⅨ在细胞定位的重要方法。

A new method is proposed for the object surveillance system based on the enhanced fish-eye lens and the high speed digital signal processor (DSP). The improved fish-eye lens images an ellipse picture on the charge-coupled device (CCD) surface, which increases both the utilization rate of the 4:3 rectangular CCD and the imaging resolution, and remains the view angle of 183 degree. The algorithm of auto-adapted renewal background subtraction (ARBS) is also explored to extract the object from the monitoring image. The experimental result shows that the ARBS algorithm has high anti-jamming ability and high resolution, leading to excellent object detecting ability from the enhanced elliptical fish-eye image under varies environments. This system has potential applications in different security monitoring fields due to its wide monitoring space, simple structure, working stability, and reliability.

光纤传感随着光通信技术的成熟而得到快速发展,成为传感领域的主要方向之一,其中利用光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)的波长漂移检测环境变量的技术日趋完善。而对波长的检测,采用光性能监测模块(OPM)是一种行之有效的手段。OPM具有对光波长及波长漂移监测精确、体积小和可靠性高等特点。文章作者系统地阐述了FBG的工作原理和OPM的技术特点,并将两者组合搭建成传感测试平台。

A new method based on gray-natural logarithm ratio bilateral filtering is presented for image smoothing in this work. A new gray-natural logarithm ratio range filter kernel, leading to adaptive magnitude from image gray distinction information, is pointed out for the bilateral filtering. The new method can not only well restrain noise but also keep much more weak edges and details of an image, and preserve the original color transition of color images. Experimental results show the effectiveness for image denoising with our method.

文章首先介绍了包层泵浦的基本原理和采用大功率多模泵浦激光器泵浦镱铒共掺双包层光纤实现高功率放大器的技术方案,并与传统掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)的技术方案进行了比较。随后,作者在文章中提出了创新的光学结构,即在第1级采用传统EDFA技术优化噪声指数,第2级采用镱铒共掺双包层光纤和高功率多模泵浦激光器以提升输出功率。采用此结构的光放大器获得了30.9 dBm的输出功率和5.2 dB的噪声指数。
